Winterfall is a ruined city in the Northeast of Roya. The city has been destroyed by Beelzebub and Leviathan, the Demon Generals of Gluttony and Envy. You'll need to complete it for the quest City of Envy and Gluttony. Once the Demon Generals are slain the way will open to the Crystal Caverns and the game's final dungeon.
The Captain in Nephlune can take Aura there after completion of the The Disbanded Crew. Aura can also unlock access to Winterfall via the Central Lake. If Aura entered via the lake, a cave access in the Northern part of the map can unlock an underground route into the city.
You can find a Teleportation Tablet in the Ruined Church in the west of the city.
