The Central Lake can be unlocked by entering from the Eastern Forest of Runes. The entrance is to the southeast, behind the low demon's anchor.
The Central Lake is one of the two routes to Winterfall. Dive into the lake and head straight back and a little to the right to descend to the second level. Head straight right to find the exit. You'll find a Teleportation Tablet in front of the Siren. Beat the Siren and surface behind her into a cavern. Head to the southeast of the Cavern and beat another miniboss to exit to the worldmap. Aura can now enter Winterfall from the World Map. You will need Fire II to clear plants, Air Bubble, and a few bombs. The area has a high density of monsters.
